Page 2 of 2 <br />The total investment portfolio (market value) consists of $205,293,358 managed by Chandler <br />Asset Management, and $74,479,912 invested by the City in Local Agency Investment Fund <br />(LAIF) and Certificates of Deposit. The average market yield of the Chandler portfolio and the <br />City Managed Investments were 4.11% and 3.81% respectively. These figures reflect the rate <br />at which new and maturing funds are being reinvested. <br />The City’s investment portfolio for this period totaled $279,773,271 (market value) with a <br />weighted average market yield of 4.02%. The total investment portfolio balance fluctuates <br />throughout the year due to normal cash flow needs and includes both discretionary and <br />restricted funds. <br />Table 1.
