General Plan Housing Element Program 1.10 (“Complete annexation of the housing sites in unincorporated Alameda County [i.e., Lester and Merritt rezone parcels]…”) in that the Agreement will result in the annexation of the Project site, also known as the Lester rezone parcel, into the City of Pleasanton; ii. General Plan Land Use Program 10.1 (“Use planned unit development [PUD] zoning for residential properties that have unique characteristics or to accommodate development that does not fit under standard zoning classifications”) in that the Agreement and Project approvals will allow for the use of PUD zoning to govern the Project site and its unique characteristics; and iii. General Plan Open Space and Conservation Program 7.1 (“Support expansion of the East Bay Regional Park District’s Pleasanton Ridge Park in areas designated as Open Space”) insomuch as the Agreement will result in the ultimate dedication of over 75 acres of open space, staging, and trail facilities to the East Bay Regional Park District in an area designated Open Space; c. provides, as required by California Government Code Section 65867.5(c), that the tentative map prepared for the subdivision will comply with California Government Code Section 66473.7. Section 4: The Planning Commission hereby recommends the City Council adopt an ordinance approving the Pre-Annexation and Development Agreement. Section 5: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
