ARROYO LAGO RESIDENTIAL PROJECT
ADDENDUM

FCS 131
Https://adecinnovations.sharepoint.com/sites/PublicationsSite/Shared Documents/Publications/Client (PN-JN)/2148/21480036/Addendum/21480036 Arroyo Lago Residential Project Addendum.docx
Zone 7 Stormwater Option
Under the Zone 7 Stormwater Option, as considered in the Prior FEIR, construction and operation of
the detention basin, pump facilities, and storm drain force main (as contemplated under the City
Stormwater Option) would be eliminated, thereby reducing the use, handling, and potential accidental
release of fuels, lubricants, and other hazardous materials associated with construction equipment
and mechanical infrastructure. Consistent with the impact conclusions in the Prior FEIR, this option
would not introduce new hazardous materials uses or expose people or structures to additional risk.
Accordingly, impacts related to hazards and hazardous materials would remain less than significant
and consistent with the conclusions of the Prior FEIR.
Mitigation Measures
The Prior FEIR determined that no mitigation measures are required. However, the following
Conditions of Approval established by ACDEH were identified for implementation in the Prior FEIR
and would be applicable to the proposed project.
Conditions of Approval
COA HAZ-4a During site redevelopment, the Applicant shall implement corrective actions and soil
management protocols identified in the Final Soil Report submitted to the Alameda
County Department of Environmental Health (ACDEH) for review and approval.
COA HAZ-4b Prior to the start of site grading, the Applicant shall submit the project schedule to the
Alameda County Department of Environmental Health (ACDEH) for review and
approval.
COA HAZ-4c Prior to the import of soil to the project site, the Applicant shall submit soil import
documentation to the Alameda County Department of Environmental Health
(ACDEH) for review and approval.
COA HAZ-4d Prior to the reuse of excavated stockpile material on the project site, the Applicant
shall submit a Stockpile Characterization Sampling, Evaluation, and Reuse Plan to
the Alameda County Department of Environmental Health (ACDEH) for review and
approval.
COA HAZ-4e Prior to the beginning of construction, the Applicant shall submit a soil excavation
report to the Alameda County Department of Environmental Health (ACDEH) for
review and approval.
Conclusion
There is no new information of substantial importance, changes in the project, or changes in
circumstances under which it will be undertaken, identifying new significant effects, nor is there a
substantial increase in the severity of previously identified significant impacts related to hazards and
hazardous materials. The conclusions from the Prior FEIR remain unchanged when considering the
implementation of the proposed project. No further environmental review is required.
