ARROYO LAGO RESIDENTIAL PROJECT
ADDENDUM

FCS 175
Https://adecinnovations.sharepoint.com/sites/PublicationsSite/Shared Documents/Publications/Client (PN-JN)/2148/21480036/Addendum/21480036 Arroyo Lago Residential Project Addendum.docx
Development of the proposed project would not interfere with the construction of this trail and would
provide additional trails to enhance connectivity in the project vicinity.
All proposed roads on the project site would contain 5-foot sidewalks on both sides, except for the
eastern side of Street A, and would also provide crosswalks at all internal intersections except for
adjacent to Street A’s roundabout, in accordance with the City’s Standard Specifications and Details.
The proposed pedestrian facilities would comply with the applicable pedestrian pathway and
crosswalk design guidelines of the City’s Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan, which are intended to
help ensure pedestrian safety.
The City’s Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan also envisions future expansions to the City’s
pedestrian and bicycle facility network, such as a Class I Shared Use Path along El Charro Road, as
outlined above.56 The proposed project would not interfere with the City’s implementation of its
Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan, or the development of facilities envisioned under the plan.
Therefore, the proposed project would have adequate on-site and off-site pedestrian and bicycle
facilities, and impacts related to pedestrian and bicycle facilities would be less than significant,
consistent with the Prior FEIR’s impact conclusions.
As discussed in the Prior FEIR, the LAVTA Tri-Valley Wheels bus service provides fixed route bus
service in Dublin, Pleasanton, and Livermore. The closest bus stops to the project site are Martin
Avenue and Mohr Avenue, and Stanley Boulevard and Valley Avenue, approximately 0.3 mile
northwest and 0.45 mile southwest of the project site, respectively.57 The Dublin/Pleasanton BART
station is approximately 2.6 miles from the project site. BART is a regional rail transit service that
operates within the County and provides connections to Contra Costa, San Francisco, and San
Mateo counties. ACE is a regional transit service that operates from Stockton to San José, passing
through Tracy, Livermore, Pleasanton, and Fremont. The closest station, Pleasanton Station, is
located approximately 2.10 miles southwest of the project site. While some amount of transit ridership
would be generated by the proposed project, it would not include a degree of demand or any design
features that would significantly impact the operation of these transit systems.
The proposed project would increase pedestrian and bicycle connectivity to the surrounding area via
the off-site improvements described above, and future residents could bike from the project site to
these transit stops and board with their bikes. Possible routes include the Class I Iron Horse Regional
Trail , which would offer residents a low-stress bicycle route from the nearby intersection of Valley
Avenue/Busch Road to the Dublin/Pleasanton BART station.

56 City of Pleasanton. 2018.
