cooperative contract No. 01-137, awarded to EC America. OMNIA Partners is a national
cooperative purchasing organization whose supplier contracts are competitively solicited by a
lead public agency and made available to participating public agencies nationwide. Purchasing
through this contract allows the City to purchase Dell products at competitively established
government pricing without conducting a separate formal solicitation, consistent with the City's
purchasing requirements for cooperative purchases. This approach satisfies the City's
competitive procurement requirements and streamlines acquisition of standardized enterprise
infrastructure.

EQUITY AND SUSTAINABILITY
A reliable SCADA platform supports the continuous delivery of water, wastewater, recycled
water, and storm drain services to residents and businesses citywide. The replacement
infrastructure is also more energy efficient than the end-of-life equipment it replaces, and
decommissioned hardware will be recycled through the City's electronic waste process,
consistent with Climate Action Plan 2.0.

OUTREACH
No outreach was conducted, as this item is a routine matter of City business.

STRATEGIC PLAN ALIGNMENT
Approval of this action advances the citywide ONE Pleasanton Strategic Plan goal of
Safeguarding Our City: Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness by strengthening the
resilience and cybersecurity of the critical control systems that support essential utility services
and emergency preparedness.

FISCAL IMPACT
The total cost of the procurement is $289,532. This is a one-time capital expenditure. Funding
is available through the Water/Sewer Enterprise Fund (42040602/43041202-440104).

Prepared by: Submitted by: Approved by:
for

Allen Hammond, Director of
Information Technology
Siew-Chin Yeong, Director of Public
Works

Joe Calabrigo, Interim
City Manager

Attachments:
None
