MILITARY EQUIPMENT USE REPORT 2024 <br /> <br />28 <br />Equipment Name: Penn Arms 40mm Launcher <br />Quantity Owned/Sought: Purchased in 2024 Lifespan: Approximately 15 years <br />Equipment Capabilities: Launches 40mm projectiles, can be loaded with six rounds and with <br />various types of projectiles. <br />Manufactured Product Description: The Model P540-1CER Launcher is a multi-shot, PUMP <br />launcher with a six-shot capacity. It is designed to deliver less lethal munitions. <br />Purpose/Authorized Uses: The 40mm launchers can be used as a less-than-lethal impact device <br />and stored in patrol supervisor vehicles. This is intended for patrol purposes by trained <br />personnel. They can also deliver chemical agents.
