Annual Slurry Sealing of Various Streets Project Locations <br /> <br /> <br />Project Support <br />Project costs include funding for project support services, the estimated cost of which is <br />accounted for in the financial expenditure summary (see Attachment 2) but are not a part of <br />the construction contract with Sierra Nevada Construction, Inc.. Project support services may <br />include work under existing on-call consultant agreements previously approved by the City <br />Council, such as materials testing services and tree pruning. Materials testing services will be <br />provided by Geocon Consultants, Inc., under the City’s existing on-call professional services <br />agreement. These testing and observation services are required to provide specialty testing of <br />the materials to ensure the material mix meets City specifications. The City’s on-call <br />consultant, West Coast Arborists, Inc., will prune trees overhanging the right of way up to 14 <br />feet to meet clearance requirements to prevent damage to trees from the construction <br />Page 127 of 249
