City Council Minutes Page 1 of 9 July 27, 2026 <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MINUTES <br />Monday, July 27, 2026 <br />7:00 PM <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Mayor Balch called the Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at the <br />hour of 7:00 p.m. from the Council Chamber located at 200 Old Bernal Avenue. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Present: Councilmembers Eicher, Gaidos, Nibert, Testa, Mayor Balch <br />Absent: None. <br />AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br />None. <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />Mayor Balch opened public comment. The following individuals provided comment: <br />Todd Nelson, Sharon Piekarski. <br />Mayor Balch closed the public comment. <br />Mayor Balch stated item 1 on the consent calendar is for an amendment to the <br />employment contract with the Interim City Manager to clarify that he will be enrolled in <br />CalPERS. <br />MOTION: It was m/s by Eicher/Gaidos to approve the consent calendar as <br />recommended. Motion passed by the following vote: <br />Ayes: Councilmembers Eicher, Gaidos, Nibert, Testa, Mayor Balch <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: None <br />City Council <br />1.Approve the First Amendment to Employment Contract for Interim City Manager <br />Services with Joseph Calabrigo <br />Recommendation: Approve first amendment to employment contract for Interim <br />City Manager services with Joseph Calabrigo. <br />Page 12 of 344
