PLEASE READ IT CAREFULLY. <br />Form SP 30 48 10 18 Page 2 of 2 <br />© 2018, The Hartford <br />(May include copyrighted material of Insurance Services Office, Inc., with its permission) <br />(b)Exclusions B.2.g.,Dishonesty,and B.2.i.,Exposed Property,do not apply to property in the <br />custody of a carrier for hire. <br />(c)Exclusion B.2.h.,False Pretense,does not apply to loss or damage caused by your good faith <br />acceptance of false bills of lading or shipping receipts. <br />(d)We will not pay for physical loss or physical damage caused by or resulting from poor or <br />insufficient packaging or packing. <br />(e)We will not pay for: <br />(i)Property in care, custody or control of you, your salespersons, or your “employees”; <br />(ii)Mail shipments in the custody of the U.S. Postal Service; <br />(iii)Property of Others for which you are responsible as a: <br />(aa) Carrier for hire; or <br />(bb)Carloader,consolidator,broker,freight forwarder,shipping association,or other arranger <br />of transportation; or <br />(iv)Property in or on a motor vehicle you own, lease or operate. <br />(f)We will not pay for physical loss or physical damage,if you impair our rights to recover damages <br />from any carrier for hire.But you may accept from carriers for hire bills of lading,receipts or <br />contracts of transportation which contain a limitation of value. <br />(5)With respect to payments under this Coverage Extension only,the following is added to Paragraph <br />5.d. within Section E., PROPERTY LOSS CONDITIONS: <br />Valuation of Property in Transit <br />(a)Property You Own <br />(i)The value of Covered Property will be the amount of invoice plus accrued charges,prepaid <br />charges and charges since shipment; or <br />(ii)In the absence of an invoice,the value of Covered Property will be its actual cash value,with <br />proper deduction for depreciation, at the point of destination on the date of expected arrival. <br />(b)Property of Others <br />The most we will pay for Covered Property owned by others is the lesser of: <br />(i)Your legal liability for direct physical loss or physical damage to such property; or <br />(ii)What we would pay if you had owned the property. <br />(6)The most we will pay in any one occurrence under this Coverage Extension is the Limit of Insurance <br />shown in the Declarations for Transit Coverage. <br />Docusign Envelope ID: 9DF92A24-B534-85BA-8088-342315DF1839
