Performance Pest Management | City of Pleasanton Pest Control Services Proposal |Page 2
LETTER OF INTRODUCTION
City of Pleasanton
Public Works Department
Dear City of Pleasanton:
Performance Pest Management appreciates the opportunity to submit this proposal for comprehensive
pest management services at City of Pleasanton facilities.
As a Pleasanton-based, second-generation family business serving customers since 1979, we bring more
than four decades of experience together with local knowledge, responsive service, and personal
accountability.
We have reviewed the City's Scope of Work for September 1, 2026 through August 31, 2029 and
understand that the program includes monthly interior and exterior service, rodent management,
bait-station servicing and replacement, trapping, reporting, follow-up treatment, and emergency
response across a diverse group of municipal properties.
Our approach is based on Integrated Pest Management (IPM): inspect, identify contributing conditions,
treat as necessary, monitor results, communicate findings, and adjust the program as conditions change.
Rodent-control needs can vary significantly by location and cannot be accurately determined from a
purchase order of $48,000.00 per contract year so sufficient funding is available to respond to actual
conditions.
The $48,000 annual purchase order is an authorization ceiling, not a guaranteed or anticipated annual
expenditure. We do not intend to utilize the entire amount unless actual pest conditions and the
services, equipment, and materials required warrant that level of expenditure.
Our objective is to provide the City with an effective, accountable, and responsive program that
manages, controls, and reduces pest and rodent activity while avoiding unnecessary treatment and
material usage.
We appreciate the opportunity to be considered and look forward to continuing to serve the City of
Pleasanton.
Sincerely,
Katie Yeoman Watkins
President / Owner
Performance Pest Management
facility list alone.
