Performance Pest Management | City of Pleasanton Pest Control Services Proposal |Page 11
INITIAL-YEAR EQUIPMENT AND MATERIAL COSTS
Performance Pest Management anticipates that the first contract year may involve
somewhat higher costs than subsequent years due to the initial placement of bait
stations, traps, monitoring devices, and other pest-management equipment that may
be necessary to establish the program at each City facility.
The quantity and type of equipment required will be based upon actual site
conditions and documented pest activity. Because those conditions are not yet fully
known, the initial year may require a greater investment in materials and equipment
as the appropriate pest-management program is established across the City's
facilities.
In subsequent contract years, many of the devices placed during the first year will
already be in service. Ongoing costs are therefore expected to focus more heavily on
inspection, monitoring, maintenance, bait replacement, servicing, and replacement
of damaged or worn equipment as necessary, rather than the initial purchase and
placement of new devices.
For this reason, expenditures may be somewhat higher during the first year and
lower in subsequent years as the program transitions from initial setup to ongoing
maintenance.
maximum authorization only. Performance Pest Management does not anticipate
that annual expenditures will reach, or necessarily come close to, the full authorized
amount. Actual costs will be driven by the conditions encountered and the level of
service, equipment, and materials reasonably necessary to effectively manage pest
activity at City facilities.
11. MUNICIPAL, INSTITUTIONAL AND COMMERCIAL EXPERIENCE
Performance Pest Management brings extensive experience servicing environments in which
documentation, safety, communication, regulatory compliance, and responsiveness are essential.
Many of our customer relationships are long-standing and span decades. Our experience includes
municipal, institutional, commercial, and industrial accounts that have relied upon Performance Pest
Management for ongoing pest-management services over many years.
City of Benicia - Benicia, California
Performance Pest Management has provided services to the City of Benicia for 45 years.
Services have included:
•Pest management
•Rodent management
•Gopher management
•Tree-disease diagnosis and treatment
•Service to City facilities
Regardless, the proposed $48,000 annual purchase order remains a
Docusign Envelope ID: 12D38450-126F-85C2-806D-B77CACC97D2B
