Prioritization and Implementation of Proposed Recommendations
for the Pleasanton Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan Update July 21, 2026

P a g e | 11

• #6 Black Avenue
• #7 Case Avenue
• #8 Greenwood Road/Harvest Road
• #13 Dorman Road
• #16 Stoneridge Mall Road
• #17 Owens Drive
Spot Improvement Opportunities
In addition to corridor-level investments, individual bicycle and pedestrian improvements could
be implemented independently as “one-better” level of traffic stress upgrades during
resurfacing, capital projects, and utility work. These include intersection crossing improvements,
sidewalk gap closures, and bicycle network improvements identified through the existing
conditions, needs assessment, and recommendations process. Advancing these improvements
can close critical network gaps, improve safety and accessibility, and incrementally expand the
City's low-stress bicycle and pedestrian network while larger corridor projects are planned,
designed, and funded.
