RESOLUTION NO. 2026-079 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON TO <br />APPROVE A ONE-YEAR CONTRACT WITH WOOD RODGERS, INC. FOR ON -CALL <br />LAND SURVEYING SERVICES IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,734 AND AUTHORIZING THE <br />CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton desires to authorize the City Council to execute a one- <br />year contract for on -call general civil engineering and land surveying services, not to exceed one <br />year; and <br />WHEREAS, Wood Rodgers, Inc. has the necessary qualifications, experience, and ability <br />to provide on -call general civil engineering and land surveying services; and <br />WHEREAS, the City has negotiated a one-year contract with Wood Rodgers, Inc. for on - <br />call general civil engineering and land surveying services; and <br />WHEREAS, the total compensation under the one-year contract shall not exceed $2,734, <br />unless otherwise authorized in accordance with City procedures; and <br />WHEREAS, sufficient funding for the one-year contract is available to pay pending <br />invoices; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the staff report, the proposed one-year <br />contract, and all information presented at its regular meeting on September 15, 2026. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br />SECTION 1. The City Council approves the one-year contract with Wood Rodgers, Inc. <br />for on -call general civil engineering and land surveying services, in an amount not to exceed <br />2,734. <br />SECTION 2. The City Manager is authorized to execute the one-year contract, subject to <br />minor modifications approved by the City Attorney. <br />SECTION 3. The City Manager, or designee, is authorized to take all actions necessary <br />to implement the one-year contract, including execution of related documents, notices, <br />amendments, extensions, and administrative actions, provided such actions are consistent with <br />the approved budget and City policies. <br />SECTION 4.
