Building <br />lighted sports fields on this property is the best opportunity in many years <br />to give our children the best - and safest - we can offer. There are too <br />many teams practicing on 'black top' or in parking lots near other hazards. <br />I'm not being alarmist but our many sports organizations around the city <br />have been lucky to avoid serious injury through the years despite the fact <br />we play where we really SHOULDN"T play.
