Message Page 1 of 3

Jim Wolfe

From: Bati, Christine [Christine. Bati@xerox.com]
Sent: Monday, April 11, 2005 4:33 PM
To: Jim Wolfe
Cc: hengehold@msn.com
Subject: RE: Lighted Sports Fields

Mr. Wolfe,

I am the mother of 3 boys, two of which currently play Pony ball and the third, when old enough, will play as well.
I find it extremely frustrating that the children continue to take the brunt of cuts wherever possible and in some
cases at the complete expense of the children. When we moved from Southern California 4 1/2 years ago, we
had choices of where we wanted to live and we CHOSE Pleasanton. There were many reason's but most were
related to our kids. What were Pleasanton Unified's test scores, how did they compare to the rest of the country,
what programs were available for the children, including sports, this is very important to our family as well as so
many others. I see how sports brings families together and in today's world of mass of schedules, deadlines,
commutes, ect it is so needed. My hope is that you will go forward with the lighted baseball fields for our kids, so
that they have a good wholesome hobby that keeps these kids on the right track, give them an outlet, something
to look forward to. Don't cave into the beauracracy, take a stance for the children, they are the future, they are
the future voters.

Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,

Christine Bari
Ron Bari
Brandon Bati (PONY Player)
Matthew Bari (PONY Player)
Michael Bari (Future PONY Player)

.....
