-- Public Meeting Calendar <br />Commissioner Blank requested a calendar that would display all City meetings at one <br />time and believed it would be very helpful for the public in planning their participation. <br />Planning Commission Minutes on Website <br />Commissioner Fox noted that some of the Planning Conitriission minutes were posted on <br />the website under the Amador Theater site ~www.amadortheater_org~. <br />Vinevard Avenue <br />Commissioner Blank. advised that he was approached by a rnetnber of the public <br />regarding the activities on Vineyard Avenue and requested an update on the work <br />currently being done- Mr_ Pavan advised that a new sewer line was being installed from <br />G'lara Lane to Bernal Avcnuc as part of the Vineyard Specific Plan_ <br />Restroom References in Citv Documents <br />Commissioner Blank requested that staff assist the Commission to access enabling <br />technology that would allow them or staff to search of£cial City documents for <br />references to various items in Specific Plans, such as identifying all restroom references <br />that might be contained in the Downtown Specific Plan as it pertained to the Veteran's <br />Memorial Hall. <br />Ms_ Nerland advised that she received Commissioner Blank's email and posted a <br />message on the City Attorney list server to discover any solutions to this issue. <br />Deliverv of Planning Documents <br />Commissioner Blank inquired whether the Planning documents could. be delivered on <br />Thursday to enable the Commissioners more time to make site visits- <br />Mr_ Pavan noted that the goal of the Planning Department had been to deliver the packets <br />on Thursday s and that the previous staffing issues had made that difficult- He <br />anticipated that the addition of Donna Decker as Principal Planner and the addition of <br />staff to replace Heidi Kline will enable staff to meet that goal. <br />Planners Institute Conference <br />Commissioner Blank noted that the Planners Institute Conference would fall on April ] 3, <br />which was a regular Plat~rting Commission meeting evening- <br />Commissioner Roberts noted that there may not be a quorum of Commissioners and <br />requested that an alternate date be considered. <br />Mr_ Pavan advised that staff had discussed that issue and would present possible <br />recommendations at the February 23, 2005, meeting_ <br />PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES February 9, 2005 Page 21 of 22 <br />
