<br />EXHIBIT A <br /> <br />Old Stanley Boulevard Street Reconstruction Improvements <br />CIP No. 055022 <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br />This Scope of Services is for the preparation of plans, specifications and estimate (PS&E) <br />for the Old Stanley Boulevard Reconstruction Improvements in CITY. The project limits <br />are along Old Stanley Boulevard between Main Street and First Street. This work <br />includes replacement of the existing street pavement section, curb, gutter & sidewalk, and <br />street lighting. <br /> <br />ASSUMPTIONS <br /> <br />A. The plans shall be designed to CITY standards. <br />B. The plans shall be prepared utilizing AutoCAD / Landesktop Release 2004 or <br />greater. <br />C. The CITY shall provide existing right of way information adequate for <br />inclusion in plan set. All work is within the CITY's right of way. <br />CONSULTANT shall not be responsible for right of way appraisal, <br />acquisition, or mapping. <br />D. The CITY shall provide standard boilerplate specifications. <br />E. CITY shall provide Traffic Index (T.I) for utilization in development of <br />recommended pavement structural sections <br /> <br />TASK 1- PROJECT ~ANAGE~ENT <br /> <br />CONSULTANT shall provide project management services for each task detailed in this <br />scope of services for the design contract duration. Management activities shall consist of <br />meeting attendance, coordination, quality control, and project administration. <br /> <br />Task 1.1 Kick-off ~eeting (Project Scoping) ~eeting <br />CONSULTANT will arrange and organize a Kick-Off (Project Scoping) meeting with the <br />CITY. This meeting will serve to establish project requirements and to document the <br />CITY's input in developing the construction documents. CONSULTANT will prepare <br />meeting minutes. <br /> <br />Task 1.2 Project Team ~eetings <br />CONSULTANT will meet with the CITY midway through the preliminary design work, <br />after submittal of geometric approval drawings, and at 50% and 90% detail design review <br />stages. CONSULTANT shall prepare agenda, meeting minutes, and action items. <br /> <br />TASK 2 - PROJECT RESEARCH AND COORDINATION <br />CONSULT ANT will coordinate with the CITY to obtain information necessary for <br />project design as described below. <br />
