We chose Pleasanton because it is a safe
md wonderful community. Pleasanton is a community where children can walk or ride their bikes to
;chool. We love Pleasanton!

)ur main concern, with the proposed development, is for the safety of pedestrians and others traveling_
Ilong Cameron Avenue. We have two children that ride their bikes to school or walk on Cameron Avenue
laily. This street is narrow at the intersection of Cameron and Martin and does not have sidewalks.
'reviously, there have been close calls on Cameron; it is already an accident waiting to happen. We
:annot imagine what it will be like with more traffic and pedestrians.

'wo new street entrances are proposed, on Cameron, into the Ponderosa development. This means more
-affic and pedestrians. Can another entrance to this development be added on Martin or Trenery? This
IIould reduce the concentration of traffic and pedestrians along Cameron, thereby reducing potential
Iccidents and increasing the safety for all concerned. Why are all entrances, to this proposed
levelopment, located on Cameron?

.astly, does the City of Pleasanton have plans to purchase land for future parks? If so, this might be an
jeallocation and appropriate use for this land.

iincerely,
'racy Dorian and Patrick Greenan

1/2006
