personally lee) that) don't agree wIth hardly anything that the new neighborhood has to offer Page 2 of2

elway's property onto Martin Avenue. It seems that this change validates the concerns of neighborhood burden. Also,
lis way the current owners requesting the development can share in the burden of their own doings. This "diagonal
gress/regress to the new neighborhood is a viable solution to a plagued problern of the neighborhood that has been
~nored: why do we have to be burdened with all the new cars and people? This "diagonal street proposal design", that
'as recently revisited by some of the neighbors, would seemingly and in no way put burden on to the existing
eighborhoods that would be impacted by street noises and the added people. Furthermore the party selling the land
lares in the inconvenience of the new neighborhood and coincides with their intent to make a profit on a good
lvestment in land. We the neighbors have been ignored on this issue and sorneone needs to adhere to our concerns.

ve would like to see fewer phases to speed construction along. I understand that the developer can speed things along
'hen they want to so lets have them get it all done and over with once they start. Say like one or two phases and not
ke 3 or 5 phases.

seems like what one of the neighbors said the other day is true which was: The Selways and Lehmans are
laintaining their privacy and don't carry the burden of the new property developrnent. They rnake the profits and don't
~ve to change their lifestyles and don't seem to care much about the existing home owners, especially the ones who
~ve been around before the neighborhood was built out.

have a huge investment right across the street that no Ponderosa or City of Pleasanton personnel have been able to tell
.y how I am going to protect it from the effects of the dust of all sorts. Big dirt hauling dust, wood cutting and pad
:velopment dust, talc dust created by the constant running over and over of dirt. The city and ponderosa have seen my
)rne. Dirt is going to infiltrate every thing that we own inside and out, require constant cleaning of our homes, gutters,
'ofs, autos, lawn furniture and other assets alike, and will potentially and tremendously age some fine assets that we
NIl, along with everyone else's.

o one has given me a reasonable and viable solution to the lifestyle changes that I will have to make during
Illstruction. We need a committee to come to our homes that are down wind to help out with this. I stay at horne all
IY long, and I am home 12 rnonths of the year. I seemingly am in my front and back yard all day long. Many of my
:ighbors' are doing the same. My windows and doors are usually open. I'm sure the next few summers and years are
,ing to be ruined by the dust that will infiltrate our homes, property and lives. I have estimates on cleaning and the
ng term effects of this that you will need to hear. I am appalled by the city's response one way to handle dust. My
3&E bill is already thru the roof. I may get worse if things aren't controlled and where is the neighborhood
mmittee and full time cameras and measurements of what's acceptable or not?

vant to ensure that at the tirne such plans are submitted to the city, that the construction will result in the construction
an development or aftermarket irnprovement that is in harmony with the external design of other structures and or
ldscaping within the properties adjoining them and, will not interfere with the reasonable enjoyment of any other
mer of his or her property, including, without lirnitation, the other owners rights to many other issues that need to be
sed.

closing, I say so let the Selways and Lehmans have a road going thru their front yards and move the entrances and
ts off of our plain views and over to where no one sees or hears thern. We want a dust control solution. We want a
I EIR as previously stated. We want the new neighborhood to conform to the surroundings and not be independent of
So what if the new neighborhood will have to carry the load of new foot traffic, it's a public street. Carneron Ave
I to carry it for what 30 years or so. Are we simply expected to carry even rnore? I think not. Maybe the traffic will
down, because of this design change, on Cameron and rnake it a safer street accordingly. Think about it.

/2006
