3

Finally, there is the issue of dust and dirt that will cover the nearby homes by the activity at the
proposed development. In the Lehman-Selway property neighborhood there is nearly always
some breeze and not infrequently the wind blows with a fair amount of velocity. Homeowners
nearby will have their homes stained and their pools filled with airborne construction residue. This
has been the experience of the homeowners living on Mohr Avenue across from the Ponderosa
development on the Busch property. This represents another yet example of existing
homeowners having to suffer unsavory conditions and a diminishment in personal property and
quality of life only to satisfy the desire of a for profit developer.

I submit that all of these issues are important and consequential. At this point it is uncertain and
far from a foregone conclusion that satisfactory solutions are possible.

Thank you for your attention to these matters. I look forward to your response and request you
issue copies of this correspondence to the individual members of the Pleasanton City Council and
the City of Pleasanton Planning Commission as well.

Sincerely,
