Thcre- forc, this would be a less-than-signijicant-impact 15. TRANSPORTATION AND TRAFFIC Environmental Setting The project's primary access roads include Foothill Road and Old Foothill Road. Foothill Road is a two-lane, north/south arterial connecting Pleasanton to the Sunol area to the south and to the Stoneridge Mall and the 1-580 freeway to the north, Old Foothill Road is a two-lane residential street without side- walks providing access to the site and to the future Alviso Adobe Park. The project developer will con- struct street improvements on Old Foothill Road as required by the City Engineer. At eight dwelling units, generating a total of 80 trips during the 24-hour day and 8 trips during the a,m.lp,m. peak com- mute hour, no traffic analysis was required for the proposal.
