The <br />house and garage appear far too large for the site. The changes in footprint and profile <br />appear minor. Also, please refer to my e-mail to you on August 9, 2006, regarding <br />neighborhood architecture. This is the type of plan that accommodates major increases in <br />square footage at the expense of attractive design. With all due respect to the planners, <br />one perceives an imbalance from front to rear, and the house appears top heavy. <br /> <br />This quaint, older home has been dramatically altered with seemingly little thought given <br />to architectural conformity, proportion, consistent rooflines, or character. We understand <br />the need for additional space in these older homes.
