Page I of2

Natalie Amos

From:
Sent: Wednesday, March 29, 20069:07 PM

To: Natalie Amos

Subject: Re: 779 Mirador Crt

Dear Natalie,
This abrupt change in the process does not leave adequate time to prepare, especially with only a
24-hour window with which to supply any additional material to the city planners for consideration.
I think it is important for Donna Decker as well as planning commissoners to be able to walk
through our home to properly gauge the full impact of the Knights' proposal on our home, This was
something that was promised to us and as of yet has not happened. I also need time to consult
with a land-use attorney to get his or her input on the project's ramifications on our home. In
addition, I need time to research the fact that several homes on Angela Street, including one on
our block, were granted view easements in 1981, twenty years after their construction. I would be
happy to proceed with the zoning administration hearing which had been scheduled but if
the hearing is being advanced to the Planning Commission phase _ eliminating a full stage stage of
the process _ I would again respectufully request a delay until the next Planning Commission
meeting so that I can adequately prepare our arguments against this proposal. I also know that
one of my neighbors, Tim Bennett, who is also opposed to this project, is getting married and
going on his honeymoon during the April 12 commission hearing. If that meeting was a zoning
administration hearing, a letter in his sted would be adequate but at the level of a planning
commission hearing, he should be present and I would appreciate the city's consideration in
postponing the hearing on this vital matter until all affected parties can be present. Please advise.
Regards, Dennis Georgatos

-----Original Messageuu-
From: Natalie Amos <namos@cLpleasanton.ca.us>
To: _ .
Sent: Wed, 29 Mar 200616:56:40 -0800
Subject: 779 Mirador Crt

Dear neighbors of 779 Mirador Court,

After talking with the Knights and meeting with some of the neighbors, the City has decided that no matter the
decision of the Zoning Administrator there would be an appeal by one of the parties; therefore it would be more
productive for the project to be heard by the Planning Commission. Please disregard the Zoning Administrator
hearing for Thursday, April 13 at 3:30. The project will be presented before the Planning Commission on
Wednesday, April 12, 2006 at 7:00 PM. If you are unable to attend the Planning Commission meeting, or should
you have any correspondences that you would like included in the staff report to the Commissioners, please
provide them to me by 5:00 PM tomorrow, Thursday, March 30. Also, the two meeting's with Donna that are
scheduled for Tuesday, April 11 , 2006 will still stand.

Should you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Sincerely,

Natalie E.
