Page 2 of3

From: Ron Imperia'-:- "
Sent: Tuesday, April 25, 20069:56 PM
To:- _ .-
Cc: Jerry IselSon; martha wensel; Natalie Amos; tim bennet-timuk
Subject: Re: Planning Commission hearing

To all concerned:

The dates listed are contradictory, what is the date of the hearing 6/10/06 or 6/14/06?

We agree that the story poles should be re-installed at all elevations of the proposed project so the staff
may better visualize the scope of the project and its impact ( as requested by the Georgatos family). We
also request that a (neutral party with no involvement) perform a shading analysis and report of all
properties affected, and submit that report to the staff.

We also request a direct involvement as volunteered by Mr. Iserson in resolution to this proposal.

This project may pass certain criteria set by the design committee, but it surely contradicts the cities past
decisions and concern for the communities involved. Easements and grants have been issued for these
circumstances and proposals in the past. Why is this an exception, when it has more impact than the
homes granted these easements?

Mr. Iserson, please involve yourself in this project as you have so graciously volunteered. You will help the
city rebuff these projects that push the scope of additions and preserve our cities character. I would also
like to state that the city will lose additional tax revenue for each of these projects that are approved.

If the Knight's can afford to add a house upon a house then they can truly afford a new home in
Pleasanton. They are simply trying to beat the taxes and have no consideration of the neighbors or the
neighborhood.. This is evident and documented as they never consulted "a single neighbor on East
Angela" prior to their proposed project permit application.

If anyone ever needed the support of their city, we the neighbors of this project do!

This project will set a precedent for future outlandish expansion, beat the taxes and turn Pleasanton into
something our fore fathers never envisioned. Stacy Knight stated (" Get used to it, it is the sign of the
times").

The Families involved have an aggregate of 95 years of residency in Pleasanton, is our concern not woth a
consideration and review?

Respectfully;

Ron & Pat Imperiale

..--v__.. .

Dear neighbors,
Just to let you know, we formally filed an appeal of the Zoning Administrator's approval of
the Knight's two-story remodel. I received a request from the city to delay the hearing until
June 10, which I plan to submit today, I've included requests in the appeal that the
Planning Commissoners view our property and that the Knights put up story poles so that
the commssioners would have a true gauge of the impact of the project, Thanks and
regards, Dennis Georgatos

6/9/2006
