It took a ~rrhile, nut here you qo. As I mentlontd, we have no concerns about the project itself. Our ,oncern is mostly regarding the construction of a city street across the northern portion of rn;r property, replacing the one lane drve there now. I'd like to see specific details on the retaining wall to be cunstru~-~ted, and assure that our drainage will be connected to the gutter/st_orm drain system, not to mention the obvious fact that we'll need continued access to our home during the construction of the road. When the northern portion of our lot is graded to accommodate the new road, what will be done in the way of landscaping or erosion control? As a reminder to whom it may ^oncern, our water meter will :;eed to be moved when the road work is done. Ple need to ausure that our service continues durir;q the road construction. There is also conduit in place for telephone and cable servi~~e that needs t_o be retained, or replaced, as well as gas service that exists beneath the futr,re roadway. One thing I did not ask about when we spoke is the proposed streeY_ lights. Will the fixtures match the ones installed in the Delco/Vineyard Hills development'? And one final thing to note is the presence of a roundabout in Clara Lane Y_}:at will certainly cruse difficulty during road construction and/or construction traffic for the project itself. I am certain that the neia residents in the Deleo/Vineyard HiL1s pn~je~,t would like to see some specific wording in any eventual approval about damarle dune to the landscaping cr hardscaping of the roundabout.
