I have seen this described as an expansion but from
what I have seen of the plans it is a better use of the land the current Church and center is on. The new
center takes into consideration the neighborhood and will accomodate parking so there is less need for
parents of preschool children and church members to park on the street. To my knowledge the new plan
is for a better facility for the existing preschool. My daughter has gained so much from attending
Sonshine. The caring manner in which they teach the children to think for themselves will go a long
way in their academic education and lives. New classrooms need to be built for the existing
preschool. The plan calls for this in a way that is least disruptive to the continuation of the preschool.
To disrupt the continuity of the preschool would be a diservice to the community.
Thank you,
Tori Forest
5788 Hansen Dr.
Pleasanton, CA 94566
3/13/2007
