I am not sure if this
concern is directed to the the Church or the City of Pleasanton.
My address is 1041 Harvest Circle. I am at the corner of Harvest Circle and Del Valle. I have 4
children. Three teenage girls, 16, 17, 19, and an 11 year old boy.
My concern is the people walking on the sidewalk of Del Valle Parkway that backs up to my home.
(and four other homes on Harvest Circle) The passers-by might include those enjoying walks to
downtown, going to the park across the street, going to the church, and/or many people that walk to
Amador High School. I absolutely have no problem with the fact that some of the attendees of these
activities might park in front of my home. My concern is the is the old fence that is used to seperate the
street from our yard. It is spaced wide enough apart that passers-by can look into my backyard and into
my home. My privacy is affected tremendously. We have seen people peering in through the fence
when we have been in the backyard and in our home.
I have driven around town and noticed that brick walls have been put up to block backyards from busy
streets. I would like to know if we could have one of those walls put up to ensure our privacy with our
growing town.
Thank you.
Marilou Emmett
1041 Harvest Circle
Pleasanton, Ca 94566
Check out the ne~i~ AOL.
