D. The provisions of the Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings are determined to be equiva- lent to the provisions of California Code of Regulations, title 25 (CCR, T25), division 1, chapter 1, subchapter 1, article 1, as allowed by azticle 6, #52 of the same chapter. There is adopted by reference that certain code known as the Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings, as more pazticulazly de- scribed in this Section, except such portions as are amended, modified or deleted in this Chapter, and the same is adopted and incorporated as fully as if set out at length in this Chapter. B. Said code is the Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings, 1997 Edition, prepared by the Interna- tional Conference of Building Officials, three (3) copies of which aze on file with the City Clerk for use by the pub- lic. C. For the purposes of this Chapter, all references in the Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings to "Building Official" shall mean the Director of Building Inspection, or in the absence of the Director, the Interim, 20.32.015 Fees And Costs: Section 801.2 (Costs) of the Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings is hereby deleted. The cost of such work, including staff field and administrative work, contracts that may be let out to private parties, etc., shall be paid from the City's Repair and Demolition Fund. Recovery of these costs may be made a special assessment against the property involved, or may be made a personal obligation of the property owner, whichever the City shall determine is appropriate.
