Item 6e
Review of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Annual Grantee Performance
RepOrt (GPR) for Fiscal Year 1995 (95/96). (SR96:272)

Steven Bocian presented the staff report.

Ms. Mohr had a question regarding the Valley Community Health Center. She supported
the agency, but felt it was being underutilized. It seems five EKGs a week was not enough.
Was that because of the availability of the technical staff or what?

Mr. Bocian felt it was because of staff availability and scheduling.

Ms. Mohr suggested sharing the machine with another nonprofit organization or some
way to increase the efficiency for next year.

Mr. Bocian was not aware of another organization that could use that facility, but the
matter would be reviewed.

Ms. Dennis felt that was a valid point. There is an attempt to lower the costs of
delivering medical services. She agreed the resource should be shared.

It was moved by Ms. Mohr, seconded by Ms. Michelotti, to approve the Grantee
Performance Report (GPR) for fiscal year 1995/96 for submittal to the Department of
Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

The roll call vote was as follows:
AYES: Councilmembers -Dennis, Michelotti, Mohr, Pico, and Mayor Tarver
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
ABSTAIN: None

Item 6f
Extension of Subdivision Agreement, PresleV Companies, Laurel Creek Estates. (SR96:280)

Randall Lum presented the staff report.

Ms. Dennis asked if Presley had started working on the actual development yet.

Mr. Lum said some of the grading was started.

Mr. Tarvet asked if there were other effects to the PUD, tentative map, final map, etc.,
if the Subdivision Agreement were in default.

09/17/96
-19-
