Ms. Acosta referred to her comment about unfunded "desires". There are not a lot of
needs in this community right now.

Ms. Mohr said there is a need for a new City Hall. Council has not been taking care of
its own staff. It doesn't win votes to talk about housing your own staff, but you can't try to
make everyone happy and take care of every recreational facility the public wants if you can't
take care of your own people. They have to have a reasonable workspace in order to take care
of the needs of the City. She believed that space for City employees is just as important as
swimming pools, libraries and anything else in this town.

It was moved by Ms. Mohr, seconded by Ms. Michelotti, to adopt Resolution No.
96-130, approving the 1995-96 Year End Financial Report and making appropriate
adjustments to the budget.
The roll call vote was as follows:
AYES: Councilmembers -Dennis, Michelotti, Mohr, Pico, and Mayor Tarver
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
ABSTAIN: None

It was moved by Mr. Pico, seconded by Ms. Michelotti, to commend City staff for
all their efforts that helped the City to meet its budget and allow a surplus and to thank
them.

Ms. Mohr felt the best way to thank staff was to give them decent working facilities.

The roll call vote was as follows:
AYES: Councilmembers - Dennis, Michelotti, Mohr, Pico, and Mayor Tarver
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
ABSTAIN: None

Ms. Michelotti referred to comments about the portable at 123 Main Street and
commented that the interior was very nice.
