Mr. Mercer agreed with Mr. Tarver. He indicated that he did <br />not support either Measure X or Mr. Thomas and that he could not <br />support giving Mr. Thomas $29,000 because he or his architect has <br />some responsibility in the process. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Butler, and seconded by Ms. Mohr, to <br />authorize the settlement of Pleasant Village Associates, et al. v. <br />City of Pleasanton and related claims for damages, as set forth in <br />the Staff Report. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler and Mohr <br />NOES: Councilmembers Scribner, Tarver and Mayor Mercer <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> The motion failed. <br /> <br />14. CITY COUNCIL CALENDAR <br /> <br /> Ms. Acosta presented the City Council Calendar for the <br />information of the Councilmembers. <br /> <br />16. CLOSED SESSION <br /> <br /> Council adjourned to a Closed Session at 8:52 p.m. to continue <br />the discussion on real property negotiations. <br /> <br />17. ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br /> There being no further business at 9:45 p.m., it was moved by <br />Mar. Butler, and seconded by Ms. Mohr, that the meeting be <br />adjourned, to meet again on Tuesday, January 15, 1991, at 7:00 p.m. <br />for the Joint Workshop between the City Council and the Pleasanton <br />Unified School District.
