He felt the Council needed some leadership at <br />this point and he would have time for that. <br /> <br />Ms. Dennis felt that every Councilmember would be available to assist the Mayor. <br /> <br /> Ms. Ayala believed 2000 would be an important year and she hoped the position <br />of vice mayor would not be used politically.
