Items 6f(1)
PAP-10, (PDR~26/PV-14) Nextel Communications
Item 6f(2)
PAP-11, (PDR-40/PV-15) Snrint PCS
Appeal of the Planning Commission's denial of an application for (a) design review
to allow a wireless communications facilily (including antennas and equipment) to
be located on the roof of an existing building located at 7399 Johnson Drive (Dublin
San Ramon Services District); and for (b) a variance from the Pleasanton Municipal
Code to allow the communications facilities to be located closer to a park than
allowed by the Municipal Code. (SR00:257)

These items were continued at the appellant' s request. No new date has been set.

Item 6~
Consideration of the Suoolemental A~,reement to the Tax Sharin! Aircement with
Alameda County relardinl the Bernal Avenue Prooert,

Ms. Acosta indicated that as part of the approvals fbr the Bemal Avenue property
and its annexation, it is necessary to have approval from Alameda County for a Tax
Sharing Agreement. Supervisor Haggerry raised the point of including a parcel on the
Bernal Avenue property for an ACE train station as part of that agreement. Council has
indicated it did not want to do that without going through the public planning process,
even fl~ough it firmly supports the ACE train in Pleasanton. Staff therefore drafled a
supplemental agreement explaining the public process and indicated Council would give
consideration to an ACE station on the Bemal Avenue property. If it is not decided that a
station would be on the Bernal Property a~er the public process is concluded, then
serious consideration would be given to placing the station somewhere else in Pleasanton.
This Supplemental Agreement was approved by the Alameda County Board of
Supervisors this morning by a unanimous vote.

It was moved by Mayor Tarver, seconded by Ms. Dennis, to approve the
Supplemental Agreement as presented.

The roll call vote was as follows:
AYES: Councilmembers - Ayala, Dennis, Michelotti, Pico, and Mayor Tarvet
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
ABSTAIN: None

MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCIl,
There were none.

Pleasanton City Council 12 09/19/00
Minutes
