interconnected to the Pleasanton master signal <br />control network and operated by Pleasanton <br />as part of the Hopyard/Dougherty Road corridor. <br />c. In the event Caltrans does not allow operation <br />of the proposed traffic signals as part of <br />the interconnected Pleasanton network, the <br />Dublin Boulevard-Dougherty Road traffic signals <br />may be coordinated with the proposed traffic <br />signals. <br />d. The proposed traffic signals shall not be made <br />operational until such time as traffic signals <br />at the intersection of Hopyard Road and the <br />Interstate 580 eastbound off-ramp in the City <br />of Pleasanton are installed and made operational. <br />e. Dublin expressly reserves the right to control <br />the phasing of (i) the proposed traffic signals <br />and (ii) the Dublin Boulevard-Dougherty Road <br />intersection traffic signals. <br />f. Plesanton and Dublin shall cooperate in the <br />retiming/phasing of all interconnected/coordinated <br />traffic signals to improve traffic flow at all <br />locations. <br />4. Mutual Cooperation. Dublin and Pleasanton shall <br />cooperate to effect the installation of the roadway improvements <br />and traffic signal at Hopyard/Dougherty Road and Interstate <br />580 westbound off-ramp as soon as reasonably practicable. <br />Such cooperation shall include mutually agreeing to such <br />-5- <br /> <br />
