<br />Sec. Z. Affirmative Action Plan Objectives <br />The specific objectives of the City of Pleasanton's Affirmative <br />Action Plan are as follows: <br />1. To increase the proportion of minority and female employees <br />within the City's workforce to reflect their occupational <br />availability within the designated labor market. <br />2. To establish reasonable goals to eliminate where appropriate <br />underutilization or significant disparity in the employment <br />of females and minorities. <br />3. To insure that all employment decisions are made within .the <br />principles of equal opportunity. <br />4. To insure that all personnel actions such as recruitment, <br />selection, promotion, training compensation and benefit <br />administration, transfers, layoffs, return from layoffs, <br />training, social and recreation programs, are carried out <br />without regard to race, color, religion, sex, or national <br />origin. <br />
