70.
Did you mean Little Ivy League can operate the after school program as long as
the number of children is around 32? Is Little Ivy League response for the
city's record for the address change? or the web site couldn't be relied
on for the address change?
I also asked other parents who have been the program since 2006. According to
them, the program has run at 9955 Stoneridge Dr since summer 2006, and the
number of children increased a lot since summer 2006. I think the church and
neighbers at 2390 Santa Rita Rd have more details about the operation.
By the way, Z am curious about the number of children. Is there some special
reasons that city limited the conditional permit to 26 or 32? Why 70 is not
allowed for the permit?
Kevin Hu
On Fri, 9/26/08, Jenny Soo <JSoo@ci.pleasanton.ca.us> wrote:
From: Jenny Soo <JSoo@ci..pleasanton.ca.us>
Subject: RE: More than 70 kids in an after-school at 9455 Stoneridge Dr
To: k- -
Cc: "Donna Decker^ cuuccxer@ci.pleasanton.ca..us>, "
Walter Wickboldt <WWickboldt@ci.pleasanton.ca.us>, Brian
Dolan <bdolan@ci.pleasanton.ca.us>
Date: Friday, September 26, 2008, 7:15 PM
Hello Mr. Hu,
In April 2005, Ms. Jennifer Shen applied for a Conditional Use Permit (Case
No. PCUP-138) to operate an after-school enrichment program/Little Ivy League
(3:30-6:00 p.m. M-Thurs. and 3:30-5:30 p.m. on Fridays) for a maxim~nn of 30
students at 2390 Santa Rita Road Her application was approved by the Planning
Commission subject to the Conditions of Approval. To date, the City record
indicates that Little Ivy League is still located at 2390 Santa Rita Road .
In September 2005, Pleasanton Community Church and United Youth Enrichment
School co-applied for a Conditional Use Permit (Case No. PCUP -143) operate an
after school tutoring program in the Church's education building located at
9455 Stoneridge Drive The proposal was for a maximum of 25 students and it was
approved by the Planning Commission. Independent from the after -school tutoring
program, the Pleasanton Community Church obtained a Conditional Use Fermit
approval (Case No. PCUP -B9) in 2003 to operate an after-school daycare program
(3:15-6:00 p.m.; M-F) with a maximum of 32 children. In 2006, Pleasanton
Community Church was merged with Fountain Community Church .
Conditional Use Permit approvals run with the land. In [his case, Little Ivy
League could operate at 4955 Stoneridge Drive, provided that its operation Eits
into the approval granted to United Youth Enrichment School in terms of hours of
operation, number of student at the facility, etc., or a separate conditions use
permit must be reviewed and approved by the City prior to operating a program
that has been significan[1y modified from what was approved. As mentioned
above, to date, the City record still shows Little Ivy League is located at 2390
Santa Rita Road .
I have discussed your concerns with Walter Wickbo Ldt Senior Code Entorcement
Offices. Occupancy capacity is regulated by the Bu Tiding and Sire codes. Mr.
2/2/2009
