would be from various schools in Pleasanton. Would vanpool be provided to
pick up students?
4. The proposed summer childcare program appears to be a full-day program
from 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Would the enrollment
remain at a total of 40 students? Would the summer childcaze program be
divided into various sessions, and how many students would be enrolled in
each session?
5. The written narratives indicate that a lawn azea of approximately 1,250 squaze
feet in area located between the church sanctuary building at 4439 Stoneridge
Drive and the parking lot adjoining Santa Rita Road would be utilized as the
outdoor activity azea for the proposed childcaze program. I had a brief
discussion with the State licensing staff, and was informed that the State
requires an outdoor azea of 75 squaze feet for every child. Based on the
proposed enrollment of 40 student:;, it would require a fenced outdoor activity
azea of 3,000 squaze feet. There proposed outdoor activity azea of 1,250
squaze feet in size would not be adequate.
In addition, although this azea is directly outside the church sanctuary
building, it is a part of the common. azea owned by the office complex owners
associate. Approval from the association is required.
Parkins:
6. Currently, it does not appeaz to have any on-site pazking and/or circulation
issues between the church function:; and the rest of the tenants in the same
office complex. With five of the nine existing buildings in the office complex
being medical buildings, which traditionally generate a high pazking demand,
it is unknown if on-site parking and/or circulation would be an issue with the
proposed childcaze program. Would there be designated pazking spaces for
vanpooling if students would be picked up after school? Would there be
designated "short term" pazking spaces during pickup and drop-off periods?
If you have any questions or would like to schedule a meeting to discuss each item,
please call me at (925) 931-5615.
Sincerely,
envy S o
Assistant Planner
Cc: Carol Forbes, C&M Management, P.O.
