The after-caze programs appeals to families who request special tutoring for their children. Emphasis is placed upon reading, English skills, mathematics, and learning the Chinese language. The program has successfully operated for the past two years without any complaints from the community or the Santa Rita Office Center Association. Staff consists of six teachers and assistants who monitor a close contact environment with each child. Children remain indoors throughout their stay. Impact of this Proposed Change: By-in-lazge, the approved operation noted on May 1 Q 2006 remains the same. The only difference will be the increased size of the facility and the drop-off/pick-up location. The number of children approved in PCUP-166 remains the same: 32 for Pleasanton Community Church and 25 for the Little Ivy League Tutoring program. All share the 6480 sq. ft. space, which is also divided up into 5 classrooms (see site diagram). Children's drop off and pick up will be on the Santa Rita side (west side of the complex). There is virtually no traffic on this west side of the complex. Students aze brought from six different elementary schools in Pleasanton by school vans and dropped off at the location. Pazents pick up their children between the hours of 4:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. The Santa Rita Office Center contains a total of 223 parking spaces. There aze currently 29 nondesignated spaces on the west side of 4439 which aze available for parking throughout the day; none of which interfere with the other usages of the complex. More spaces are available throughout the complex if needed, including 8 spaces on the east side of 4439. • Children will meet in the church sanctuary area, located on the fast floor. This building meets all city regulations for Sunday worship attendance. The new building size is 6480 sq. ft. The former amount of space being used in Building 4455 was approximately 3000 sq. ft. • Five new classrooms will be constructed within the 44391ocation; this is the same number of classrooms used in Building 4455. • Please see attached maps and diagrams.
