~ ~- Page 1 of 1
Donna Decker
From: nancy allen•
Sent: Wednesday, June 25, 2008 6:16 PM
To: Donna Decker
Cc: Anne Fox; pblank®~
Subject: request to continue discussion -Ponderosa
Hi Donna,
This is a request to continue the item re: the Ponderosa homes due to the fact that 1 and many others who will be
impacted by this project were not notified of this meeting. ). I (and others I know) have questions and concems
but were not aware this was on the agenda until late last night and are not able to attend.
I would request that the same list of homes that were notified of Home Depot (homes along Valley) also be
notified on this project as this does have a negative impact on traffic on Valley. I would request you reschedule
to the 4~' week in July (due to holiday week in early July and lots of people on vacation the 2"a week. I will be on
vacation the 2"d week and would very much like to attend along with others I know.
Donna, thank you very much for insuring impacted parties are notified so they can have an opportunity to ask
questions and share any concerns so the best input can be considered.
Nancy
p.s. I also request that the traffic study be posted as well as that was not in agenda materials on the web so
others can review in advance. For example, I was interested in where the assumption of 50°k reduction in cars
for senior came from and what specific age this assumed. If it was age 65 or 70, that makes sense. However, for
couples that are in early 50s, I am not sure that is true and was hoping to review assumptions and specifics one
would expect to see in a traffic study so I can come prepared to the meeting. Most people work until mid 60s and
many beyond plus many in early 50s have high school or college kids with more cars than younger couples
