It seems
irresponsible to not accept funding to support this buildout from others, most especially in the challenging economic times
we have today. This roadway is and has been desperately needed to support the traffic of Pleasanton residents driving to
Livermore and Livermore workers commuting to Hacienda and other jobs in Pleasanton which help increase out tax base
and was expected to be built many years earlier.
Please help us improve circulation and help the majority of residents and workers who are getting backed up at Valley and
nearby intersections when trying to 'Hove between these cities. This is more than about one neighborhood vs, another. It
is about one neighborhood and what is right for the overall good of the majority of Pleasanton which is why this was in the
plans before the Stoneridge community was ever built. SD was built to be shared with others across the city and it is time
now to start sharing it for the benefit of many.
Please, let's get these plans started while others are willing to pay and while we build Staples Ranch so residents have a
way to connect to Staples and help these businesses grow and generate tax revenues.
Further Rationale:
1 It is fiscally irresponsible to delay buildout when %ve have people that are willing to pay (and the Council agreed to keep
toneridare Drive this is in the General Plan and will be built). If you have not driven down Stoneridge Drive, please do
and %,ou will see how this 4 lane road, built and maintained by the city, is not being used to ppo others in the city as it was
2009
