AGREEMENT FOR ZONE 7 HEADQUARTERS SITE <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into this /b* - day <br /> <br />of ~_.. , 1983 by and between ZONE 7 OF ALAMEDA COUNTY <br />FLOOD CONTROL AND WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT (hereinafter <br />referred to as "Zone 7"), and the CITY OF PLEASANTON (herein- <br />after referred to as "City"), a municipal corporation, based <br />on the following understanding: <br /> <br /> RECITALS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Zone 7 desires to develop a 0.864-acre site <br />("Site") at the Pleasanton Sports and Recreation Park for <br />administrative office facilities; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City is willing to contribute the proposed Site <br />to Zone 7 and finds that the public health, safety and welfare <br />of the people of Pleasanton will be benefitted if the Site <br />is developed by Zone 7 subject to appropriate conditions as <br />set forth herein; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the method by which this may be accomplished <br />requires that the City revert ownership of the proposed Site to <br />the United States of America and that Zone 7 obtain ownership <br />of the Site from the United States of America in accordance <br />with established procedures; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, based on the foregoing mutual understandings <br />the City and Zone 7 agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Deed of Reversion. <br /> <br /> City will execute the Deed of Reversion to the Site <br /> <br />attached hereto as Exhibit "A".
