AGREEMENT THIS AGREEME~£, made and entered into this ~7~'' day of ~_, 1981, by and between the City of Pleasanton, a Municipal Corporation of the State of California, hereinafter referred to as "City," and Zone 7 of Alameda County Flood Control and Water Oonservation District, hereinafter referred to as "Zone 7": WITNESSETH, that: WHEREAS, the City has adopted Environmental Impact Guidelines and Procedures on February 28; 1977, by Resolution No. 77-66, for consideration of environmental effects of private developments; and WHEREAS, in order to assist and expedite the preparation of Environ- mental Impact Reports, the City may retain outside assistance; and WHEREAS, Zone 7 is qualified to assist City in evaluating the environmental impacts of proposed flood control improvements as part of projects under City jurisdiction as listed below; and W]{EREAS, City and Zone 7 are duly authorized to enter into this agreement; NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants, agreements and conditions herein, the parties hereto do agree as follows: 1. Zone 7's Services. Zone 7 shall perform the services hereinafter set forth: ao Zone 7 shall prepare an environmental assessment of the flood control and water quality aspects of the Prudential Insurance Company application for PUD rezoning and development plan approval for a 570± acre industrial park. Such work shall provide the information necessary for the City to prepare those sections of the draft environmental impact reports, and final environmental impact reports concerned directly with the flood control and water quality aspects of the aforementioned project. More specifically, Zone 7 will evaluate impacts and develop mitigation measures associated with various alternative improvements of portions of TassaJara Creek and Arroyo de la Laguna, on-site and off-site drainage, and surface and subsurface water quality.
