RESOLUTION NO. 2026-012 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON APPROVING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF PLEASANTON AND GENO TOLARI FOR SANTOS RANCH ROAD LOCATED AT APN 946-3800-4-12 WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton, as successor to the Pleasanton Township County Water District (PTCWD), owns fee title to Santos Ranch Road, which was constructed with funds from the PTCWD Assessment District #3 Fund; and WHEREAS, Santos Ranch Road has been a private roadway since the County of Alameda and the City of Hayward abandoned their public right-of-way in the road; and WHEREAS, the original Santos Ranch Road Shared Maintenance Agreement was entered on August 4, 1999 and expired on August 4, 2024; and WHEREAS, Geno Tolari requires the use of Santos Ranch Road to access their residence located at APN 946-3800-4-12; and WHEREAS, a new agreement is required to define the obligations and maintenance responsibilities for the City of Pleasanton and Geno Tolari. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: SECTION 1. Approves the Agreement attached as Exhibit A between the City of Pleasanton and Geno Tolari and directs the City Manager to execute all appropriate documents. SECTION 2. This resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at a regular meeting held on March 17, 2026.
