Kamstrup has advised the City that,
for the FLOWIQ® 2200 meter, the flow rate designated as Q3 under ISO 4064 represents the
equivalent maximum continuous flow for design and evaluation purposes.

Based on the technical information provided by Kamstrup, the City believes that the proposed
Model 8B (5/8-inch), Model 8C (3/4-inch), and Model 8D (1-inch) FLOWIQ® 2200 meters
satisfy Zone 7’s connection fee requirements reflected in Zone 7's June 16, 2026 Connection Fee
Schedule. For ease of reference, a comparison of the applicable continuous flow ratings for
traditional displacement meters and the proposed Kamstrup ultrasonic meters is provided in the
table below.
Meter
Size
Displacement Meter
Maximum
Continuous Flow
(US gpm)
Kamstrup Flow IQ2200
Equivalent Maximum
Continuous Flow
(US gpm)
Evaluation
5/8” 10 7.04 Q3 (7.04 gpm) is equivalent to
maximum continuous flow per
ISO 4064 §4.1 and the meter
manufacturer; satisfies Zone 7
requirement
¾” 15 11.0 Q3 (11.0 gpm) is equivalent to
maximum continuous flow per
ISO 4064 §4.1 and the meter
manufacturer; satisfies Zone 7
requirement
