D. The provisions of the Uniform Code for the Abatement <br />of Dangerous Buildings are determined to be equivalent to <br />the provisions of California Code of Regulations, title 25 <br />(CCR, T25), division 1, chapter 1, subchapter 1, article 1, <br />as allowed by article 6, #52 of the same chapter." <br /> <br />Section 9. <br /> <br />Chapter 20.34 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code, as amended, is hereby <br />further amended to read as follow: <br /> <br />"20.34.010 Uniform Sign Code adopted. <br /> <br />A. There is adopted by reference that certain code known as <br />the Uniform Sign Code, as more particularly described in <br />this Section, except such portions as are amended, modified <br />or deleted in this Chapter, and the same is adopted and <br />incorporated as fully as if set out at length in this Chapter. <br /> <br />B. Said code is the Uniform Sign Code, 1997 Edition, <br />prepared by the International Conference of Building <br />Officials, one (1) copy of which is on file with the City <br />Clerk for use by the public. <br /> <br />C. Where there is a reference in the Code to the "Building <br />Official" it shall mean the "Chief Building Official" or in <br />the absence of the Chief, the Interim, Temporary or Acting <br />Chief Building Official." <br /> <br />Section 10. Chapter 20.36 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code, as amended, is hereby <br />further amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />"20.36.050 Administration <br /> <br />This Chapter shall be administered by the Chief Building <br />Official as a part of the Uniform Building Code, 1997 <br />Edition. All rights of appeal that attach to the Uniform <br />Building Code shall also attach to this Chapter." <br /> <br />Section 12.
