Whenever the term "Administrative Authority" is used in this Code, it means the Chief Building Official or the Chiefs authorized representatives." Section 13. Chapter 20.48 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code, as amended, is hereby deleted. Section 14. Chapter 20.52 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code, as amended, is hereby further amended to read as follows: "20.52.010 Uniform Code For Building Conservation adopted. A. There is adopted by reference that certain code known as the Uniform Code for Building Conservation, more particularly described in this Section, except such portions as are amended, modified or deleted in this Chapter, and the same is adopted and incorporated as fully as if set out at length in this Chapter. B. Said code is the Califomia Building Standards Code 1998 Edition (24 CCR), and including by reference the Uniform Code for Building Conservation, 1997 Edition, appendix chapter 1, prepared by the International Conference of Building Officials, one (1) copy of which is on file with the City Clerk for use by the public. C. Where there is a reference in the Code to the "Building Official" it shall mean the "Chief Building Official" or in the absence of the Chief, the Interim, Temporary or Acting Chief Building Official. 20.52.40 Owner Notification: The Chief Building Official shall, within six (6) weeks of the effective date hereof, notify the owners of property improved with unreinforced masonry buildings determined to be within the scope of this Chapter that such owners are required to submit engineering reports, building analysis, plans for the repairs and complete any necessary structural repairs within the time limits established by Section 20.52.050 of this Chapter. 20.52.50 Mitigation Plan: 129
