DES:dit 9/25/92R(001/54) <br /> 10/07/92R <br /> Sewerage Facilities or facilities of TWA, LAVWMA or other Joint <br /> Use Facility, improvements effected to reduce operating costs, <br /> increase reliability of Sewerage Facilities, reduce off -site <br /> odors, improve working conditions and /or safety of personnel, and <br /> other operating improvements. <br /> Notwithstanding the foregoing, District's authority to <br /> expend funds necessary or appropriate for maintenance, operation, <br /> repair and replacement of the Regional Sewerage Facilities or <br /> facilities of TWA, LAVWMA, or such other Joint Use Facility shall <br /> be subject to the concurrence or agreement of City when such <br /> expenditure exceeds Ninety Thousand Dollars ($90,000) and relates <br /> to a project, the sole or single substantial purpose of which is <br /> to: (i) improve the physical appearance of the Regional Sewerage <br /> Facilities, facilities of TWA, LAVWMA or such other Joint Use <br /> Facility or any component thereof, (ii) provide facilities or <br /> improvements to mitigate or reduce the environmental effect of <br /> operations of the Regional Sewerage Facilities, facilities of <br /> TWA, LAVWMA or such other Joint Use Facility upon occupants of <br /> property in close proximity thereto, or (iii) provide studies <br /> relating to improvements to or for the Regional Sewerage <br /> Facilities or facilities of TWA, LAVWMA or such other Joint Use <br /> Facility. The aforesaid Ninety Thousand Dollar ($90,000) limit <br /> shall be adjusted annually in proportion to the change in the <br /> construction cost index for the San Francisco Bay Area Region <br /> published in the Engineering News Record, or in accordance with <br /> any construction cost index substituted therefor by said <br /> Engineering News Record or any successor publication thereof, or, <br /> 37 <br />
