9. Add a new Section 5.3.2 as follows: <br />"5.3.2 Any part of the work performed for the Contractor <br />by a Subcontractor shall be pursuant to a written Subcontract <br />between the Contractor and such Subcontractor, which shall be <br />prepared on the form of Subcontract which the Owner has approved. <br />Each such Subcontract shall: <br />(a) Require that such Work be performed in accordance with <br />the requirements of the Contract Documents; <br />(b) Require the Subcontractor to carry and maintain <br />liability insurance in accordance with the Contract Documents; <br />and <br />— 1 54984 <br />(c) Require the Subcontractor to furnish such certificates <br />and waivers as any lender, the Architect and Owner's Representa- <br />tive, Inspection Staffing, may reasonably request." <br />10. Delete the last sentence in the existing Section 7.2.1 <br />in its entirety and substitute the following language: <br />"7.2.1 Contractor may not assign its right under this <br />Contract or assign any rights to any money due or to become due. <br />It is understood that Owner intends to assign its rights <br />hereunder to its lender and Contractor agrees to enter into an <br />agreement with such lender pursuant to which at the lender's <br />request, Contractor will complete the Work upon payment of all <br />balance of the contract price. Any entity which shall succeed to <br />the rights of Owner shall be entitled to enforce the rights of <br />Owner hereunder." <br />11. Add the following language to Section 7.3.1: <br />"7.3.1 At Owner's request a copy of all written notices <br />shall be delivered to any lender for the Project." <br />
