The overstaffed positions in this agreement will be used to replace retirement and resignation
vacancies in the currently authorized operations division workforce of 102 personnel, or to increase
daily staffing for Livermore as stated above in item IC.
C. The department has no intention of layoffs and all overstaff positions shall be availed all rights of
seniority should such an event occur.
D. Wages, working conditions and benefits of all overstaff individuals shall conform to the MOU
currently in effect.
E. This agreement is contingent upon approval and funding by the City Councils of Livermore and
Pleasanton.
IVOperational Requirements:
A. The duty assignment locations of the overstaffed slots will be decided by management.
B. Within the overstaffed assignments made available, and other normally permanent available slots, the
overstaffed personnel may bid slots using their department seniority.
C.
