exercising jurisdiction over such matters. Nothing <br /> herein contained or contained in any subsequently <br /> adopted ordinances covering the use of Pleasanton's or <br /> Livermore's Collection Systems shall prevent or <br /> constrain Livermore from continuing its permitting <br /> procedures relating to industrial or commercial users <br /> existing upon the date hereof, or as said procedures <br /> may, from time to time, be changed, modified or <br /> superseded by Livermore. Therefore, no discharge shall <br /> be permitted from the users of Pleasanton's collection <br /> systems which would prohibit Livermore from complying <br /> with its NPDES Permit or otherwise from complying with <br /> the Clean Water Acts, rules and regulations <br /> implementive thereof, or which would otherwise conflict <br /> with requirements of the aforesaid pretreatment <br /> program. <br /> (2) Include provisions ensuring that sewage conveyed from <br /> the Pleasanton Collection System to the Livermore <br /> Collection System shall meet all requirements with <br /> respect to quantity, quality, characteristics and <br /> prohibited substances contained in Livermore's sewer <br /> use ordinance, the pretreatment program, and applicable <br /> regulations, as said ordinance, program and regulations <br /> exist upon the date hereof, and may from time to time <br /> be amended, revised, or superseded. <br /> 10 <br />
